For 2009 we are planning to do
two tours in autumn: October 6th to 15th and October 27th
to November 5th. The 2009 World Cup Selection competition
in Bir is scheduled for October 20th - 25th. Our earlier
tour is the perfect way to get warmed up for the comp: in
2008 Miha Razinger spent ten days exploring the area and
vol-bivving with us before coming a very creditable 3rd
overall, behind two PWC pros.
The cost of each tour will be 1100 GBP. The price covers
seven days of guiding during the ten days of the tour. If
the weather allows for more flyable days (which is very
probable) we shall arrange pilots' transport to take off
and advise on possible flight plans. For a supplementary
fee, we can guide them on their chosen routes; the cost
will depend on the planned routes and client ratios. The
price for the tour includes breakfast, dinner,
accommodation and transport to take off for all ten days.
Because we tend to be flying all day lunch doesn't normally
happen - we go somewhere for chai, a snack and a debrief
after we land.
The cost of any unplanned retrieves is not included in the
price. They are unlikely. If, however, they do happen they
can get relatively expensive (landing in the wrong valley
over the back can add several hours onto a retrieve) but
reasonable shared out among everyone. We don't want
financial considerations to limit where we take you!
